PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE
(a) Disengage the claws and guides to remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle. | |
2. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 side.
3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disengage the clips and claws to remove the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly. | |
4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 side.
5. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
(a) Remove the 3 screws <A>. | |
(b) Disengage the guides to remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.
6. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
(a) Remove the 3 screws <A>. | |
(b) Disengage the guides to remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.
7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ORNAMENT
(a) Disengage the claws and guide to remove the instrument cluster finish panel ornament. | |
8. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER WITHOUT DOOR AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

The front and side supplemental restraint systems (SRS) include different types of air bags. Please verify the different types of air bags which are equipped on your vehicle by locating the “SRS AIRBAG” location indicators. These indicators are visible in the area where the air bags are installed.
The air bags are installed in the following locations:
The steering wheel hub (driver air bag) The front passenger dashboard (front passenger air bag) The outboard sides of the front seatbacks (side air bags) The front and rear window pillars, and the roof edge along both sides (curtain air bags)
