3. REMOVE SWITCH HOLE BASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

7. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH

8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

9. DISCONNECT NO. 1 ROOF HEADLINING MOULDING LH

10. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

11. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL

12. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

13. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

14. REMOVE AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH

The front and side supplemental restraint systems (SRS) include different types of air bags. Please verify the different types of air bags which are equipped on your vehicle by locating the “SRS AIRBAG” location indicators. These indicators are visible in the area where the air bags are installed.
The air bags are installed in the following locations:
The steering wheel hub (driver air bag) The front passenger dashboard (front passenger air bag) The outboard sides of the front seatbacks (side air bags) The front and rear window pillars, and the roof edge along both sides (curtain air bags)
