REASSEMBLY
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL CLEAN AIR FILTER
(a) Install the clean air filter. NOTICE: Make sure that the "UP" mark is facing the correct direction before installing the clean air filter. | |
2. INSTALL AIR FILTER COVER PLATE
(a) Engage the guides and claw to install the air filter cover plate. | |
3. INSTALL BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the blower motor with fan sub-assembly with the 3 screws. | |
4. INSTALL NO. 1 BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly with the 2 screws. | |
5. INSTALL NO. 1 DAMPER PLATE
(a) Move the gear of the blower assembly so that the shape of the output shaft of the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly and the shape of the center portion of the No. 1 damper plate are aligned.

(b) Align the gear of the blower assembly and the engagement portion of the No. 1 damper plate, and engage the claw to install the No. 1 damper plate. |

No special break-in is necessary, but a few precautions in the first 600 miles (1,000 km) may add to the performance, economy, and life of the vehicle.
Do not race the engine. Do not maintain one constant speed, either slow or fast, for a long period of time. Do not drive constantly at full-throttle or high engine rpm for extended periods of time. Avoid unnecessary hard stops. Avoid full-throttle starts.
