INITIAL CHECK
(a) An initial check is performed when the ignition switch is off for more than 2 seconds and then turned ON. The initial check consists of a pre-collision system diagnostic check with a duration of approximately 3 seconds.
(b) If a malfunction is discovered during initial check, then after the initial check (after 3 seconds have elapsed), the PCS warning light in the combination meter assembly will illuminate and a message indicating a pre-collision system malfunction or that the pre-collision system is temporarily unusable will be displayed in the multi-information display.
CONSTANT CHECK
(a) The millimeter wave radar sensor assembly constantly monitors the pre-collision system for malfunctions after the ignition switch is turned ON and the initial check (approximately 3 seconds) has completed.
(b) If a malfunction is detected during the constant check, the PCS warning light in the combination meter assembly will illuminate and a warning message indicating the pre-collision system is malfunctioning or disabled will be displayed on the multi-information display.
WARNING
When removing the fuel-filler cap, loosen the cap slightly and wait for any hissing to stop, then remove it
Fuel spray is dangerous. Fuel can burn skin and eyes and cause illness if ingested. Fuel spray is released when there is pressure in the fuel tank and the fuel-filler cap is removed too quickly.
