Toyota Yaris: Low Speed Pre-Collision System / Stopping the Low Speed Pre-Collision System Operation
The Low Speed Pre-Collision System can be temporarily deactivated.
When the Low Speed Pre-Collision System is turned off, the Low
Speed Pre-Collision System OFF
indicator light turns on.
When the engine is restarted, the
system becomes operational.
Without Low Speed Pre-Collision System OFF switch
Refer to Customizable Features.
With Low Speed Pre-Collision System OFF switch
Press the Low Speed Pre-Collision System OFF switch to turn off
the system. The Low Speed PreCollision System OFF indicator
light in the combination meter will
illuminate.
Press the switch again to turn the
system back on. The Low Speed
Pre-Collision System OFF indicator
light will turn off.
The Low Speed Pre-Collision System laser sensor is installed at
the top of the windshield near the rearview mirror.
Always keep the surface of the
windshield around the laser sensor clean to assure proper operation of the Low
Speed PreCollision System...
