HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector. | |
(b) Remove the nut and disconnect the No. 2 frame wire from the battery state sensor assembly. | |
(c) Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the auxiliary battery. | |
Installation
INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the battery state sensor assembly to the auxiliary battery and tighten the nut.
Torque:
5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}
(b) Connect the No. 2 frame wire to the battery state sensor assembly with the nut.
Torque:
7.6 N·m {77 kgf·cm, 67 in·lbf}
(c) Connect the battery state sensor assembly connector.
2. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

3. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function thatcompletes learning when the respective system is used.

If a key is left in the vehicle, the functions of the key left in the vehicle are temporarily suspended to prevent theft of the vehicle.
To restore the functions, press the unlock button on the functions-suspended key in the vehicle.
